IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR GORGEOUS! PATRONS
As The Famous Spiegeltent is a temporary venue, we thought the following information would help to make your experience as GORGEOUS as possible!
Box Office/Ticket Collection
The Famous Spiegeltent Box Office is located in the main Box Office foyer, at the top of the monumental stairs. The Box Office is open 1 hour prior to each performance.
Tickets will be available at the Box Office until 15 minutes after the start of the last performance. After that, tickets can be collected or purchased from the Spiegeltent.
General Admission
Please note that all performances in The Famous Spiegeltent are general admission and are a combination of seated and standing. Seating is not guaranteed. Doors will open half an hour prior to each performance, so come down early to secure a seat.
Performance times
All performances will commence at the advertised time – there are no support acts. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each performance.
Toilet facilities
There are no toilets in the Spiegeltent. The closest toilets are in the main Box Office foyer or on the lower concourse (near Opera Bar and Sidewalk Café). The closest toilets with level access are located in the Western Foyer.
Cloaking
You are not required to cloak bags before entering the Spiegeltent, but cloaking facilities are available at the cloak desk in the main Box Office foyer in the evenings, or at the Guided Tours cloak desk (on the lower concourse) during the day.
Bars and Food
The Spiegeltent bar will be open prior to and during all performances.
After the show why not head on down to the Opera Bar on the Lower Concourse for drinks, meals and snacks, including the special $15.00 Spiegelcocktail! Plus you can receive 10% off your food bill by showing your Famous Spiegeltent ticket after the performance. Or try Sidewalk Café, also on the Lower Concourse, where you will receive 10% off any beverage purchase by showing your Famous Spiegeltent ticket after the performance.
Wet Weather
The Spiegeltent will be positioned on the forecourt of our beautiful building, which is a picturesque but exposed location. If the weather looks inclement, please bring an umbrella as the queue will be outside the Spiegeltent.
