1927: THE ANIMALS & CHILDREN TOOK TO THE STREETS

A WICKEDLY TWISTED TALE FROM ONE OF BRITAIN’S MOST INNOVATIVE THEATRE COMPANIES

‘A frighteningly gifted new theatre company.’ THE TIMES, UK

1927 returns to The Studio after their sell-out season of Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Seamlessly synchronizing live music, performance and storytelling with stunning films and animation, The Animals and Children Took to the Streets is a wickedly twisted tale from this multi award-winning company.

1927 invites you into a dystopian world of dubious characters and inner city paranoia, where a beast is on the loose. It is a world ruled by fear, a world where no one can be trusted…and the wolf is always at the door. Trust no one. Suspect even your own shadow.

Co-commissioned by BAC, Malthouse Melbourne and the Showroom (The University of Chichester), in association with the British Council
